Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8G/SR1
Operating System: VISTA - 32

Good morning,

I have a problem with the use of umlauts (, ) when it comes to labeling graph axes and worksheet columns. Each of abovementioned umlauts is either replaced by a comma or an arab character (in graph axes) or is left out (when a column long name is being displayed). Also note that the umlaut is displayed properly when entering a column long name, but then dismissed when the name is displayed.

Help of any kind is very welcome.

We can see the problem in Vista only, seems to be related to the extra fonts (Arabic). It is also related to the use of Default Font, so if you change to a specific font, the problem goes away. We will look into a fix with tracker 13450.

Thank you for your kind advice - I'll see to change the standard font away from Arial/Helvetica.
